The Energy Stick
|
The Energy Stick is a 7.5" long by 1.25" diameter hollow glass tube that lights up and chirps when a conductive path is provided between the two ends. The amount of current needed to turn on the tube is so small that the current flowing through a human body or a chain of people holding hands is enough to turn on the tube. A great demonstration of electrical conductivity. The Energy Stick can be purchased from Steve Spangler Science: |
