If you will be helping us at our tent, it is easiest to park near Gate 7 off Taintor Road on the North border of the Fairgrounds.  If, as a volunteer, you have received a parking pass from us, it should allow you to park in the employee parking lots just outside of Gate 7, on the north side of Taintor Road.  There are two lots, which you can see on the Google Earth map.  Gate 7 is marked by the red teardrop icon.  One lot has an entrance to the right, just before the Gate 7 entrance, the other just to the west of the Gate 7 entrance, with 8th Street Road between them.  Unfortunately, you usually can NOT turn right or north onto 8th Street during the Fair, so plan on entering either of these lots off of Taintor Road, either just before 8th Street/Gate 7, or just after the 8th Street intersection.

When coming south on I-55 from the north, it is easiest to take the exit at mile marker 105 on business I-55 into Sherman, then continue south on Peoria Road.  Follow the left-turn lane and Peoria where the main road becomes Veteran's Parkway, and during the Fair you will be routed on to Taintor Road, now one-way west.  The third Fair entrance off of Taintor Road is Gate 7.
